Our Women’s IM2 and Novice 4+ crews were competing last weekend at Richmond Regatta. All good experience for the Novice squad, who unfortunately failed to make it through to the final. Our IM2 crew come home with some silverware, even if it wasn’t the way they would have expected. For further information click here.

Twelve people took up our 10 week Beginners Course in the Spring and have now completed the course. The highlight of which was their first taste of club racing on Sunday. A lovely day with great conditions saw two heats of coxed fours racing approx 750m along the south shore of the Thames at Greenwich. [...]

Once again our juniors carried the Globe flag triumphantly at Barnes & Mortlake Regatta at the weekend. Thames Water Regatta Many Globe RC Juniors were representing Greenwich borough in Rowing at the London Youth Games last weekend. Mark Jaques had a successful weekend at the Metropolitan Regatta at Dorney Lake, Windsor. Saturday Senior Single Sculls: Mark sculled brilliantly to comfortably win his heat by nearly 10 seconds.
