• Welcome

This is the web site of Globe Rowing Club, rowing from Greenwich since 1923. Based at the Trafalgar Rowing Centre close to the heart of historic Greenwich and only minutes from Cutty Sark DLR, Greenwich and Maze Hill train stations, Globe offers competitive as well as recreational rowing and sculling on an exciting and varied stretch of almost 9 miles of the River Thames from Tower Bridge to the Thames Barrier.

Partners

Globe RC welcomes support from any individual or organisation interested in promoting the sport of rowing for the benefit of our local community.  If you wish to contribute through donation, volunteering or in some other way then we would be delighted to hear from you.

Our key partner at the Trafalgar Rowing Centre (TRC) is Trafalgar 2001 Trust Limited, a registered charity that is the Lessee and operator of the TRC properties; this organisation’s web site can be found at www.trafalgarrowingcentre.co.uk

We are grateful to Sporting Club Greenwich (Greenwich Council) and the other organisations whose emblems appear below for their financial and other practical support.

We are working closely with schools through the Greenwich School Sport Partnership supporting curriculum learning and after school activities.  We are also seeking individual school partnerships and welcome closer links with any organisations that encourage young people into the sport of rowing.
